Why did I start a consulting firm and what I have to offer?

I’ve spent 30+ years in the technology industry from front line Sales, Business Development, up through Sales Executive and Senior Marketing roles. My passion is making organizations better and more efficient. Not always the most glamorous of areas, but one that energizes me. I established AHF Advisors to further that vision, and would love to help you build a better organization!

I have had the privilege of working for some great companies, leaders, and co-workers, and was able to learn and build upon these opportunities. Leading the Sales (and BD) teams at multiple companies provided the opportunity to put my own methodologies in place and over the course of 10+ years refine them.

The methods and thought process I use are significantly different than what’s used by most today. It’s easy to say that, but harder to show, so as an example, let’s look at they way CRM’s are used. CRM process at the companies I worked for (and many others who I’ve spoken to) are top-down driven, resulting in cumbersome implementations that don’t provide anywhere near the value they’re capable of. Ask any Salesperson what they think of their companies CRM and after the eye roll and grimace of pain you’ll get the same answers, “burdensome”, “painful”, “useless”, etc….

The core of my approach changes that. Based on multiple experiences, as a user (frontline Sales), consumer (Sales Executive), and a 3rd party (Marketing) I made a conscious effort to drive vale across all entities, for the user (efficiency gains via reduction of duplicate efforts, clarity in opportunity status, etc….), consumer (improved data quality from both timeliness and raw perspectives), and 3rd party (efficiency gains by reducing duplication and “outside of the tool” tracking common in most organizations). Having developed and implemented these systems I’ve seen tangible results at all levels.
